Welcome to Buckmaster Farms!

We are a fourth generation Registered Black Angus Farm located in Mayville, MI. We specialize in all aspects of the business cow-calf all the way to finishing. We focus on top shelf performance genetics by personally Artificially Inseminating our animals to introduce the best and upcoming genetics into our herd. We also are currently using our own cows for embyro flushing and embryo transfers.

Our operation tries to do it all. We raise our own feed to focus on putting up the highest quality feed to help our animals grow and flourish from the moment they hit the ground. Our cows and calves run on rotational pastures that maximize our cows’ milking potential and maximize the growth of our calves. We consistently produce calving ease animals that hit the ground growing and convert into top of the market large carcasses in 14 to 16 months. Once our animals are weaned, we background our breeding heifers, bulls and finishing cattle in our enclosed indoor facilities. We strive to make each new generation have a better phenotype and genotype. Currently, we sell freezer beef farm to table locally and to top end markets. Our meat is in high demand from all sources. In addition, we currently sell heifers, bulls, and embryos and lease bulls.
